'Tis the Season for Holiday Cheer and Slight Chaos! 🎄✨
Perhaps "slight" is an understatement?
It seems like in December, the mental checklist of all the things to do gets very loud and invasive, some might say. The family text messages, the decorating, the plans, and the reminders constantly run through my mind. While I absolutely love the holiday season, it also stresses me out. I don't have a solution; I just wanted to share my honest feelings. 'Tis the season for shared stress and mutual support, after all.
A little holiday cabin update:
We're on a mission to transform our house into a Nancy Meyers movie set. It's December already, and our cabin is only halfway decorated. Don't even get me started on the Christmas tree fiasco. But once we got it up, our living room transformed into a scene from a holiday rom-com - think “Love Actually” without Hugh Grant's epic dance moves (Craig will have to do for now)! We still have a long way to go, but we are determined to make it happen.
